Parentification occurs when boundaries are blurred and the roles of parent and child become reversed. Parentified children carry a slew of symptoms with them into adulthood that tend to go unrecognized or labeled as "responsible" or "mature." In this episode, we will cover the 2 types of parentification, the 5 different signs, AND we'll suggest ways to cope & heal if this has been your experience.
